Frederick E. “Fred” Dick passed away at 12:39pm, Saturday October 5, 2013 at his residence with his family by his side...
He was born on November 13, 1939 in Alton, the son of the late Emmit and Norma (Boyd) Dick.
Fred married Peggy (Dunlap) in 1975 in Alton, IL she preceded him in death, in June of 2009.
Fred was a truck driver his entire life. He enjoyed camping and watching TV, and spending time with his children.
Surviving are his three children; Mark Dick of Alton, Meagen Dick of Alton and Carolyn Plummer of West Virginia, one brother; Emmitt Dick Jr. of Alton, and one grandchild; Michael Dick Jr. of Texas. Fred will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephew’s.
He was pre-ceded in death by his parents, wife, and one son, Michael Dick Sr., two brothers; Vance Walker and Rube Dick and one sister Carol Dick.
Per his wishes cremation where accorded.
