Dorothy V. Bagley, 96, died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Christian Hospital North East in St. Louis, MO.
She was born August 20, 1913 in Alton to Ephraim and Leila (Reed) Alexander. On October 5, 1935 in Alton she married Gerald T. Bagley Sr. and he preceded her in death on July 23, 1975.
She was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church in Alton.
Surviving are two nieces; Pat and her husband Chris Fischer of Godfrey and Colleen Depper of Godfrey. Three grandchildren; Adam Bagley and his wife Holly of Cayce, South Carolina, Mareen Treese of Tempe, AZ and Brett Bagley and his wife Donna of Baton Rouge, LA, 5 great grandchildren and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son; Gerald T. Bagley Jr., one brother; Albert Alexander and one sister; Lucille Beaty and a grandson-in-law; Eric Treese.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Grace United Methodist Church in Alton with Reverend Charles Schwaab to officiate.
Burial will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church.
