Mary Lou Butler, 83, passed away at 5:30 pm on Monday, June 7, 2010 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Gillespie, Illinois.
She was born on February 14, 1927 in Camargo, Illinois, the daughter of Frank & Ruth (Richman) Sutton.
She married Barnell Lee Hamby. He passed away on January 7, 2009. She married Thomas Butler on July 6, 1974 in Alton. He passed away on May 23, 2006.
Mary Lou worked in the packing department at Owens Illinois Glass Company. She enjoyed making crafts and swimming.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Gary & Carol Hamby of Kirkwood, MO, Genece "Rainy" Hamby of Gillespie, IL and Patricia & Dave Frederick of Las Vegas, NV and a sister, Patricia Renault of Alton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands and a son, Dennis Lee Hamby and a brother, Frank Sutton Jr.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Inurnment will be at Mayfield Cemetery in Carlinville at a later date.
