William P. Jones, 53, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 01, 2010 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 19, 1957 in Hampton, Va., he was a son of Harry Paul Jones and the former Christine Loretta Bizaillion.
A painter for Local #471 in Collinsville, he married Nancy J. Kay Dec. 7, 1987 in West Alton. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother and stepfather, Clifford and Christine Loretta Ballard of Bethalto; two sons, Joshua Jared Jones and Adam Alexander Jones, both of Wood River; a granddaughter, Kaya McNaughton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye and Kenneth Sessions of Wood River and Patricia and Richard Zonner of Lakeland, Fla.; and a brother, James Jones of Campbell, Mo.
According to his wishes, the body will be cremated and there will be no services.
