Anna M. Wahl, 85, died at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born July 26, 1924 in Alton, she was the daughter of Charles and Sophie (Schwallenstecker) Stormer.
She was the youngest of seven children. On March 27, 1943, in St. Charles, MO, she married Morris V. Wahl.
He preceded her in death on May 31, 2009. Surviving is a son, Morris V. Wahl Jr. and his wife Jeanne of Godfrey, two daughters, Mary Ann Wahl-Mullineaux and her husband Jim of Creve Coeur, MO and Eleanor Blanton and her husband Mike of Alton, six grandchildren, Jason Wahl of Godfrey, Theresa, Sophia and Julia Mullineaux of Creve Coeur, MO, Bobby Blanton and Karen Wetzstein of Alton and three great-grandchildren, Allison Wahl and Lauren and Mikey Wetzstein.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Gent Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be at Alton Cemetery.
