Clark Johnston, age 56, died at 9:34am, Monday April 26, 2010, at Christian North East Hospital, in St. Louis, MO.
He was born on September 24, 1953 in Alton, IL. to Charles and Suzanne (Clark) Johnston.
Clark was a lab tech for Mandis Dental Lab in Collinsville, IL. A member of the Upper Alton Baptist Church. He had a green thumb and could grow anything. He loved to fish. Hunt, and especially loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his father and one sister; Debbie Kirts, two nieces; Katie Kirts, and Bethanie Kirts, two nephews; Jacob Kirts, and Zachary Kirts. Several Aunts Uncles and cousins, and a special friend that was supportive through out his illness, Tony Nash.
He was preceded in death by his mother, and a son Matthew Johnston.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Wednesday April 28, 2010 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, IL.
Funeral Service will be at 10 am, Thursday April 29, 2010 at the Upper Alton Baptist Church in Alton, Il. Rev. Brad Donoho will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Upper Alton Baptist Church.
