JoAnn Meuret, 68, passed away at 6:05 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 28, 1941 in Granite City, she was the daughter of Virgil and Marie (Colin) Redin, who preceded her in death.
On Dec. 26, 1966, she married Raymond E. Meuret in Granite City. He survives.
She was owner and operator of the Cone Barn in Roxana for the past 35 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Clara Sherman of Chicago; a niece and nephew and their spouses, Karen and John Eddy of West Virginia and Mike and Lisa Sherman of Chicago; her mother-in-law, Thelma Meuret of Roscoe, Ill.; a brother-in-law Robert Meuret of Beloit, Wis.; and a sister-in-law and her husband Lorraine and Lavern McCurdy of Caledonia, Ill.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 15 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights. Cremation will follow, according to her wishes.
