Harlan D. Kremke, 67, passed away at 6:05 am Sunday March 21, 2010 at home with his family at his side while under the care of Heartland Hospice.
He was born on November 5, 1942 in Plainview, Nebraska, the son of Delmer & Luella (Lerum) Kremke.
He married Sandra Ray on August 7, 1976 in Bethalto. She survives.
He retired in 2001 from Olin Corporation where he worked as a data base administrator in the systems department.
He enjoyed hunting, computers, cooking, making wine and spending time with the grandkids.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by one daughter, Kylie Garrison of Alton; one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin & Ashley Kremke of Godfrey; four grandchildren, Casey Lee, Mariah Marie Garrison, Hunter Harlan, and Taylor Droege.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmer & Luella Kremke and one brother, Darrel Kremke.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
In celebration of his life, a memorial visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday March 24, 2010 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the Bethalto Fire Department.
