Thomas J. "FITZ" Fitzgerald, 53 passed away Sunday 1:36 am March 7, 2010 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton.
He was born on June 28, 1956 in Alton the son of the late John T. and Helen (Schulz) Fitzgerald, Sr..
He married Susette Davis on July 13, 1991 in Godfrey. She survives.
He was a route salesman for Pepsi Company for 32 years, living in the Alton area all of his life. He enjoyed "good" golfing, friends and family. "Strolling " the grounds with his dogs, Cardinal Baseball and Busch Beer.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two sisters Virginia and her spouse Richard Stilwell of Alton, Patricia and her spouse Jack Schwaab of Godfrey, three brothers and their spouses John and Karen Fitzgerald of Alton, William and Linda Fitzgerald of Alton and Daniel F and Nonie Fitzgerald of Alton, and his best friends Jim "Dagwood" and Debi Hardin of Alton and Snookie Davidson of Alton.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday March 9, 2010 at Elias Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey. Services will be at the Funeral Home11:00 a.m. Wednesday March 10, 2010 with Father Chris Uhl, O.M.V. officiating.
Cremation will follow.
