Beverly A. Mason, 74, passed away at 8:15 pm Sunday February 21, 2010 at St. Luke's West Hospital in Chesterfield, MO.
She was born on September 13, 1935 in Hillsboro, IL, the daughter of Charles & Julia (Boskoski) Barnes.
She married Harold Mason on August 1, 1953 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Alton. He survives.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton.
In addition the her husband, she is also survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Julia &
David Young of Wood River, IL and Cindy Mason of Godfrey; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Billie Jo Barnes of Wood River, IL and Pat & Steve Ditterline of Moro, IL.
In addition to her parents; one son, Nick Mason, also preceded her in death.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday February 24, 2010 at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Thursday February 25, 2010 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton.
Cremation rites will follow.
Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Hospital's Cancer Center.
