William Lee "Bill" Healy, 60, died at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Born March 7, 1949 in Alton, he was the son of Robert Lee and Margery (Powell) Healy of Godfrey.
He worked for the Alter Barge Company as a First Mate for 22 years.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Katrina Lynn Healy of Jerseyville, four grandchildren; Adam, Sarah, Victoria, and Heather, two great grandchildren; Jaidyn and Kimberleigh, and a brother, Michael Louis Healy of Conway, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be private. Reverend Charles Schwaab will officiate. Memorials may be made to the National Rifle Association.
