Michael S. Kidd, 41, passed away at 8:04 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2009 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born Apr. 8, 1968 in Alton, he worked as a manager at American Pipe Straightening Co. in St. Louis.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie (Buchanan) Browder of East Alton; a daughter, Katelyn Furlow of East Alton; a brother, Kraig Kidd of Encinitas, Calif.; a sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and Duane Rosecrans of Edmond, Okla.; his grandmother, Eleanor Buchanan of Lime Springs, Iowa; aunts and uncles, Bob and Nancy Buchanan of East Alton, Roger Buchanan of Denver, Colo., and Babs Kidd of Pine Knot, Ky.; a niece, Alexandra Kidd; two nephews, Joshua and Cody Rosecrans; a cousin and her family, Kimberly (Buchanan) Reiterock; and his stepmother, Norma Kidd of Glen Carbon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray D. Kidd and his stepfather, William Browder.
Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 19 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Rev. Gary Mosimann will officiate.
Burial will follow at Woodland Hill Cemetery in East Alton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Michael Kidd Memorial in care of Regions Bank.
