Dennis "Denny" James Crouch, 54, passed away at 10:03 pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
He was born on October 10, 1955 in Wood River, Illinois, the son of Ivan Crouch & Doris (Bunse) Steiner.
He worked at Laclede Steel in Alton.
In addition to his mother Doris Steiner of Moro, he is survived by one sister, & brother-in-law, Sheryl & Bob Scheffel of Greenville, SC; a brother & sister-in-law, Scott & Paula Steiner of Bethalto; 3 nephews, Justin Tharp and Matt Scheffel of Greenville, SC and Jeffrey Steiner of Bethalto; a great niece, Britney Tharp of Greenville, SC and an aunt, Vickie Parrish of East Alton.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Monday, November 30, 2009 at the funeral home with Rev. Willard Meyer officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church.
