Rose Marie Lueking, 82, passed away on Monday June 29, 2009 in Lewisville, Texas after a lengthy battle with lung disease.
She was born on November 11, 1926 in Woodburn, Illinois, the daughter of Charles Joseph & Selma (Bruggeman) Reader.
She was married to Lloyd E. Lueking on September 24, 1954. He preceded her in death.
Rose graduated from Bunker Hill High School in 1946. She worked in a sewing factory until married and then became a home maker. She attended Grace Baptist Church in Flower Mount, Texas and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary & Patty Lueking of Lewisville, TX and her 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Laura and Bradley.
She was preceded by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, Joe Reader and Russell Reader, and 1 sister, Fern Long.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 12 Noon until funeral services at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Ralph Blake officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
