Marjorie “Margie” Sue (Peters) Jones, of Godfrey, Illinois went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 21, 2022. Margie was born on January 10, 1945, in Alton, Illinois to her parents, Wilbur “Pete” and Nordica (Dilling) Peters. Margie loved her four-legged pets, horses, and dogs, and enjoyed keeping up with the lives of her grandchildren: Nick, Maddie, and Emily.Margie is survived by her son, Michael (Sandra) Jones of Brighton, Illinois, and daughters Diane (Skip) Schoen of South Fork, Colorado, and Katherine Jones of Wood River, Illinois. Margie was proceeded in death by her parents.A memorial service is being planned for a future date.
