Emily M. Little, 80, of White Hall died on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, at Jerseyville Manor in Jerseyville.
Born in White Hall on Nov. 26, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William and Vera (Blaine) Willis.
She was married to Junior H. Little and he preceded her on April 27, 2012. Surviving are daughters: Connie (Companion Paul Stege) Housman of White Hall, Betty Jones of Carrollton, Barbara (dec. husband Randy )Dawdy of Hardin, 6 grandchildren: Fred, Billy, Bobby, Shaun, Kyle, and Jennifer, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Emily was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a granddaughter: Heather, and her siblings: Everett, Bob, Bill, Donald, Steve, Dick, and Jack Willis and Audrey Bick, Stella Michaels, Rita Castleberry, Kay Hardwick, and an infant Phyllis Willis.
Emily was a member of Hillview Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and worked at Brown Shoe Company and later White Hall Nursing and Rehab. in the business office. She loved puzzles of all kinds, hand-held poker games, Country music, and her favorite artists: Elvis and Patsy Cline.
As per her wishes, she will be cremated. Memorial graveside services will be held at Fernwood Cemetery in Roodhouse on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 2 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Assn.
