Bertha Proffer

Bertha Minnie Proffer, 76, of Bunker Hill, IL, died at Liberty Village, Maryville, IL on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:55 pm.  She was born October 21, 1944, in Alton, IL to Earl Laverne Webb & Katherine Elaine (Kidwell) Webb.  She married Clarence H. Proffer, Jr.  He preceded her in death on May 26, 2006.  She was a homemaker. 

She is survived by her children, Brian K. (Sara) Proffer of Gwinn, MI, Shawn Elaine (David L. Hupp) Proffer-Hupp of Staunton, IL, Guy W. (Sandy M.) Proffer of Saint Jacob, IL, 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, siblings, Laverne "Lou" (Larry) Marshall of Alton, IL and Lillian (Paul) Marshall of GA. 

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and brother, Stanley Webb.  Friends may call on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, IL from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Funeral services are Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at 10:00 am at Kravanya Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, IL.  COVID 19 guidelines will be followed including mandatory masks.  Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens, Bethalto, IL  Memorials are suggested to Vitas Hospice.
