Frank Richard Wargo, 67, of Benld, IL, died in Mt. Olive, IL on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 1:19 pm.
He was born June 15, 1953, in Litchfield, IL to Edward Wargo & Wilma (Wenzel) Wargo.
Frank graduated with a bachelor's degree from Blackburn College. He was a computer programmer for the State of Illinois and then a contractual contractor. Frank was a member of the SS Simon and Jude Church in Gillespie, IL and St. Joseph's Church in Benld, IL.
He is survived by his brother, Edward (Julie) Wargo of Carlinville, IL, his nephew, Michael (Janell) Wargo, great-nephews, Levi Wargo, Blake Wargo, many caring cousins, friends and caregivers.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call on Monday, March 1, 2021, at SS Simon & Jude Church, Gillespie, IL from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021, at SS Simon and Jude Church, Gillespie, IL at 12:00 pm with Father Michael Haag officiating.
Inurnment will be at Benld Cemetery, Benld, IL.
COVID 19 guidelines will be followed including mandatory masks.
Memorials are suggested to either of the following St. Joseph's Church, SS Simon and Jude Church, Catholic Charities, Catholic Relief Services, Blackburn College and Partnership for Educational Excellence District 7.
