Dorothy Duncan Wuellner, 95, of Godfrey, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018,3:02 p.m. at her residence.She was born December 3, 1922 in Siler City, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late William and Verlie (nee: Cooper) Duncan. She married Bert J. Wuellner on October 23, 1943.  He preceded her in death onNovember 13, 1990. She was was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church , the Order of Secular Franciscans, and was very active in National Right to Life.  In her earlier days she enjoyed dancing, and was very gifted at painting and had a great love for writing.Survivors include her children;Todd Wuellner, Sr. of Mesa, Arizona, Eric (Kara) Wuellner of Houston, Texas,Kris (Melinda) Wuellner of Moro, Miles Wuellner of Swansea, Scott Wuellner of Tucson, ArizonaGayne (Jeannette) Wuellner of Houston, Texas , Maris Wuellner of Bowling Green, Kentucky,Kent (Peggy) Wuellner of St. Louis, Jena (Matthew) Wuellner Collins  of Godfrey andGrant Wuellner of Alton.a brother; William Duncan and a sister; Gracie Doss30 grandchildren and more than 40 great-grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by a son; Lance Wuellner, and two sisters Josephine Creswell and Lou Ellen Gray.Visitation  will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 19, 2018, 10:00 a.m. atSt. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alton.Memorials may be made to the National Right to Life Foundation.An online guestbook may be found at www.staten-fine.com
