Larry D. Tite, 73, of Alton passed away, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Alton memorial Hospital.
He was born February 14, 1944 in East Alton, IL to Arthur B. and Theresa Marie (Bradley) Tite.
Larry married Linda L. Gillahan on April 20, 1966 in East Alton, IL. She preceded him in death May 6, 2000.
Larry was a retired Laborer and was a member of Local 42 and had served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger.
He is survived by his son, Lance (Helen Hendrick) Tite of Alton; a daughter, Rhonda Yvette (Rob) Boyer of Alton, IL; 2 grandchildren: Chase and Tristan (Abby Autery) Boyer; 2 great-grandchildren: Gabriel and Lucinda; 3 brothers: Eddie (Mary K.) Tite of East Alton, Arthur (Patty) Tite of Wood River and Richard (Sherry) Tite of East Alton; 1 sister: Rose Tite of East Alton; a brother-in-law: Richard Hahnenkamp of East Alton: a sister-in-law: Peggy Voumard; and many other beloved family.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Ronald & Michael Tite and a sister: Janet Hahnenkamp.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tues. May 30, 2017 at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights where service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wed. May 31, 2017. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
