Ann M. Perolio, 90, of Alton, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017,  at Eunice C.  Smith Nursing Home in Alton.

She was born November 9, 1926 in Alton, IL, and is the daughter of the late William and Mary (Wohnlich) Moylan.   

She married Eugene J. Perolio on November 27, 1947 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Alton.  He preceded her in death.

Ann was a long-time member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Alton, where she was active in the Alton Society.  She was employed as a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville and later worked many years as a Probation Officer for Madison County until her retirement. 

She is survived by her three children, Steve Perolio, Mary Wiseman, and Carol Perolio; five grandchildren, Andrea Perolio, Adam Perolio, Amy Finazzo, Andrew Wiseman, and Ashley Wiseman; and three great-grandchildren, Cameron Finazzo, Grace Wiseman, Adele Wiseman, other extended family and friends.   

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Vasquez; two brothers, William Moylan and Franklin Moylan; and one grandson, Anthony Perolio.

There will be no public visitation and private family services honoring Ann will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Staten-Fine Funeral Home in Alton with Father Jason Stone officiating.

Memorials may be made to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Alton or to the  St. Vincent De Paul Society .
