Kevin P. Pohlman, 63, passed away at 8:54 pm, Sunday March 26, 2017 at his home.
He was born on October 27, 1953 in Carbondale, IL, the son of Francis “Charles” and Betty (Rose) Pohlman.
Kevin worked at Laclede Steel for 25 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley, golfing, rock n’ roll, and most of all, spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, Betty, he is survived by two daughters, Erika and Lindsey Pohlman, both of Alton; two grandchildren, Ashlynn Pohlman and Kyron Burrell Jr.; six siblings, Kerry (Aniko) Pohlman of TX, Keith (Carol) Pohlman of Golden Eagle, Kurt (Kathy) Pohlman of AZ, Kristine Pohlman of Chicago, Kory Pohlman of WA, and Kara (Chad) Huston of Springfield; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis, on May 17, 1981.
The family is planning on having a memorial service at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The American Diabetes Association or a donation of one’s choice.
