Zook, 55, passed away at 1:35 pm on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Alton Memorial Hospital.She was born on August 18, 1961 in Alton, IL, the daughter of Jimmie & Barbara (Blackwell) Denton of Pocahontas, IL.  She graduated from Edwardsville High School.She married Ricky “Rick” D. Zook on December 19, 1992 at the 1^st Southern Baptist Church in Meadowbrook.  He passed away on December 14, 2012.Donna was known for her selfless acts of kindness, her sense of humor and her love for everyone.  Donna worked as a teacher’s aide for several years and later took on the role as a homemaker.  Her entire world revolved around her children, grandchildren, siblings and extended family.  She had a special gift of making a positive impact on people’s lives and hearts.  She loved to watch the St. Louis Cardinals and go on trips with her family.  Donna will leave behind a legacy of love and she will be missed immensely.She is survived by her children and their spouses, Ben Partridge of Godfrey, Jamie (Jimmie Jr.) Franklin of Cottage Hills, Abby Partridge of Rosewood Heights and Jordan Zook & (Taylor Quigley) of Rosewood Heights; two grandchildren, Jimmie Franklin III and Jadyn Franklin; nine siblings and their spouses, Deborah (Patrick) Drew of Moro, Jimmie (Jane) Denton of Palmer AK, Dennis (Susan) Denton of Natural Bridge AL, Jeffrey Denton of Moro, Deanna (Gordon) Voliva of Pocahontas, IL, Daphne (Bob) Gvillo of Fosterburg, David (Lori) Denton of Granite City, Jessica (Wally) Peal of Moro and Doris Dake of Logan AL; 13 nieces; 13 nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, with Pastor David Denton officiating.Burial will be at Wanda Cemetery, Wanda, IL.Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.Online condolences and guestbook may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
