Sean Hilligoss, 44, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Born April 9, 1971 in Springfield, IL, he was the son of Robert and Donna (Barr) Hilligoss of Godfrey. Sean was a probation officer for Madison County for over 20 years and was involved with security detail at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO. He was a member of the AFSCME and the Parrot Heads of the Riverbend. Along with his parents he is survived by his wife Andrea (Abbott) Hilligoss, and two daughters, Audrey Michelle and Annalynn Camille Hilligoss all of Godfrey. Also surviving are two brothers, Kevin Hilligoss (Michelle) of Alton and Ryan Hilligoss (Kimberly) of Cortland, IL, a nephew Graham Hilligoss and a niece Aurora Hilligoss. Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Gent Funeral Home where funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 28, 2015.
