Donald Keith “Perk” Huff, 69, died at 4:54 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2015 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL.

He was born on May 16, 1946 in Summerville, IL one of eleven children born to the late George Otto and Beulah (Moore) Huff.

Perk was a lifelong resident of the Medora area and served our country honorably with the United States Army where he was stationed in Michigan.

Surviving are his companion of 39 years, Debra Buck of Fidelity; two sons, James Huff of Medora and Donald Huff of Greenfield; a daughter, Lorissa Buck of Medora; six grandchildren, Richard, Alex, Kara, Ashley, Kyle and Justin; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers and their spouses, Dean & Clara Huff of Jerseyville; Charles & Mary Huff of Medora and Frank Huff of Medora; two sisters, Donna Huff of Alton and Wilma Stone of Chesterfield; a sister-in-law, Kathy Huff of Jerseyville;  his special buddy, Baxter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Leslie “Whitey” and Louis “George” Huff; three sisters, Della Heater, Mary Lou Plummer and Gloria Lenington.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2015 at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 5.

Burial will take place at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Fidelity.

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be given to the family in care of Crawford Funeral Home.
