Tuesday starts wet, with steady rain already falling early and temperatures near 53 degrees. It feels like 47, so the morning will be a chilly one for the commute. Rain and a few thunderstorms will continue through the morning, with poor visibility at times and a 96% chance of rain. North to northeast winds will stay around 10 mph, with gusts near 20 mph.

By afternoon, the cooler air settles in and temperatures will struggle to move much, topping out near 56 degrees. Rain remains the main story, with a chance of a thunderstorm mixed in, so it will be a good idea to keep the umbrella close. The breeze will continue out of the north-northeast and help hold temperatures down.
