State Senator Erica Harriss (56th-Glen Carbon) and State Senator Jason Plummer (55th-Edwardsville)EDWARDSVILLE The offices of State Senator Erica Harriss (56th-Glen Carbon) and State Senator Jason Plummer (55th-Edwardsville) are partnering with the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office to host two ICASH events in the Metro East, helping residents search for unclaimed money or property that may be waiting for them.

“Earlier this year, a constituent stopped by one of my ICASH events and discovered they had $94,000 waiting for them,” said Senator Harriss. “That’s exactly why these events matter. It only takes a few minutes to check, and you never know what may be waiting for you or your family.”

“Too often, people have money sitting with the state and don’t even know it,” said Senator Plummer. “These events make it easier for people to find out what they’re owed and start the process of getting it back. If the money belongs to you, you should be able to get it without jumping through hoops.”

The events are free and open to the public. No appointment is necessary.
