WOOD RIVER - Marquette Catholic's boys tied for eighth with a team score of 337, while Highland sophomore Eli Lucas earned medalist honors with a 72 and Jersey freshman Adam Robinson advanced individually with a 73 in the Quincy Notre Dame Sectional on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026.
Highland finished seventh at 336, one stroke ahead of Marquette and Galesburg. Triad was represented by freshman Jackson Morris, who shot an 86, and junior Jayden Cosby, who finished at 92. Neither was listed among the advancing individuals.

Senior Hubert Allen led Marquette with a 79. Junior Sam Jun followed with an 84, freshman Kaden Medford shot an 86 and sophomore Sam Johnson posted an 88. Sophomore Tony Mathews finished with an 89, and senior Chase Pruitt shot a 98. None of the Marquette golfers were listed among the individual qualifiers.
Lucas led Highland and was one of three golfers to shoot a 72. Quincy Notre Dame senior Olliver Hendrian and Peoria Notre Dame senior Jack Coulter also finished at that score.
Highland junior Tyler Driscoll shot an 81, followed by juniors Gabe Hadowsky at 91, Parker Logsdon at 92 and Ethan Henschen at 93. Junior Noah Ringwald finished with a 100. Lucas was Highland’s only advancing individual.
Robinson’s 73 matched Waterloo sophomore Caden Kite’s score and placed both among the individual qualifiers. Jersey senior Michael Roberts shot an 89.
Quincy Notre Dame won the team competition with a 299. Breese Mater Dei finished second at 312, and Belleville Althoff Catholic took third at 319. All three teams advanced.
Hendrian paced Quincy Notre Dame, followed by Harper Hough’s 74, Kale Friye’s 76 and Grant Lepper’s 77. Will Kampwerth led Mater Dei with a 75, while Carson Tribout led Althoff with a 76.
Peoria Notre Dame finished fourth at 320, followed by Columbia at 323 and Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin at 334. Rochester placed 10th at 347, Rock Island Alleman was 11th at 362 and Jacksonville finished 12th at 366.
Joining Lucas, Coulter, Robinson and Kite as advancing individuals were Columbia’s Brendan Gibson, 75; Rochester’s Cole Henson and Sacred Heart-Griffin’s Aidan Grant, both 77; Peoria Notre Dame’s Alex O’Leary, 78; and Mascoutah’s Darren Klein and Peoria High’s Kayden Turner, both 79.
