DUPO, ILL. –State Representative Kevin Schmidt (R-Millstadt) is hosting a Tire Recycling Event and Food Drive in Dupo and encourages constituents to attend. The event will provide residents with a safe and secure way to dispose of tires. Rep. Schmidt’s staff will also be collecting non-perishable food items to deliver to local food pantries throughout the 114th District.
“I’m excited to host this event and help the community safely recycle unused tires,” said Schmidt. “Recycling tires is beneficial to the environment and also helps to create useful products for our community.”

When: Saturday September 12, from 9:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M.
Where: Dupo American Legion

What to expect: Drive up with your tires and our team will unload what you have and load it into the recycling truck.
*Maximum 5 car tires or 2 large farm tires per person
