Jersey Community High School F/JV/V Volleyball hosted Roxana for the annual Dig Pink Night, and together both schools raised nearly $15,000.
The freshman Panthers earned their third consecutive win with a decisive two-set victory, 21-14 and 21-12. The JV Panthers stayed right with the Shells but fell in two sets, 23-25 and 21-25. The varsity Panthers battled back and forth throughout the match before falling 21-25 and 24-26.
The Jersey girls squad thanked everyone who made this year's Dig Pink Night such a phenomenal event.
In other Jersey sports news, JCMS Girls Basketball traveled to Edwardsville Lincoln. The 7th Grade Lady Panthers fell 45-21, while the 8th Grade Lady Panthers lost 47-11.

EDWARDSVILLE LOSES MATCH IN ST. LOUIS
In the four sets played on Wednesday, Edwardsville lost a match at Cor Jesu Academy Catholic of Affton 22-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-7. Madelyn Ohlau had 10 kills and 10 service points in a stellar performance for the Tigers.
COLLINSVILLE, CM NOTCH WINS
Collinsville won at home over Gateway Legacy Christian of Florissant, Mo. 25-23, 25-15, it was Freeburg winning over Belleville Althoff Catholic 25-16, 25-23, and Civic Memorial took a three-set decision over Marquette Catholic 25-18, 14-25, 25-21.

BOYS SOCCER
In the results from matches played on Wednesday, Marquette Catholic shut out Duchesne Catholic of St. Charles, Mo. 6-0. Marquette is now 14-5 overall on the season. Marquette travels to Civic Memorial for a Saturday, Oct. 10 match that starts at 9 a.m.
Highland and Hillsboro played to a 0-0 draw, Belleville West took the three points at home over Breese Mater Dei Catholic 5-2, and Father McGivney Catholic got past Metro-East Lutheran 1-0.
JCHS JV/V Soccer traveled to Civic Memorial to take on the Eagles. The JV fell 0-4, while the Varsity squad lost a close 0-1 match.
TENNIS
JCHS Tennis hosted Jacksonville and came away with a 6-3 victory. The Lady Panthers finished their regular season with an impressive 17-4 record and went undefeated in the Cahokia Conference. Congratulations Panthers.
