For her hard work, Noel Gray is a Student of the Month for Southwestern High School.
Gray, a junior, has been a member of the track and field team since her freshman year. She loves to run and enjoys spending time with her teammates. Everyone on the team recognizes Gray as a caring, committed member.
She also recently joined the Art Club and Spanish Club. Gray enjoys challenging herself as an artist and a student. She loves collaborating with other students to master projects.
Gray holds down a part-time job and also serves as a babysitter for family friends. It takes a lot of responsibility to balance school, extracurriculars and her job, but she makes this look easy.
When she’s not busy, Gray spends her free time reading, shopping and hanging out with friends. She also regularly goes on runs to make sure she’s in top shape for the track season.
Gray is finalizing her plans for after graduation, and her teachers and loved ones can’t wait to see her embark on the next chapter. She is sure to find success in whatever she chooses to do.
“[I plan to] go into the military,” Gray shared. “I’m still deciding between the Navy and Army National Guard.”
