The recent renovation makes Jerseyville home to a “One-Stop-Shop” DMV, a new model designed to increase efficiency and reduce wait times. It also marks the 26th “One-Stop-Shop” DMV in Illinois, according to a press release from the office of Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias.

Under the state’s new One-Stop-Shop model, cross-trained employees can complete multiple transactions at a single counter, reducing wait times and the need for multiple visits.

“The opening of this modernized Jerseyville DMV reflects our commitment to making government services more efficient, accessible and customer-focused,” Giannoulias said. “Our One-Stop-Shop model simplifies the process by allowing customers to complete multiple transactions in one visit, helping them get in, get out and get on with their day.”

Located at 710 W. County Road, the Jerseyville DMV has served the local community for over 30 years. The facility is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers a full range of services, including driver’s license applications and renewals, REAL ID applications, title and registration services, driving tests and license plate sticker renewals – all under one roof.
