"When Illinoisans choose to play the Illinois Lottery, they're doing more than playing for a prize—they're helping support communities across our state," said Harold Mays, Director of the Illinois Lottery. "Every ticket purchased helps fund K-12 public education and other good causes that benefit Illinois families. We’re grateful to our players for the positive impact they make every day."

To thank players for their support, the Illinois Lottery is hosting a special Spin the Wheel Challenge on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gas Express, located at 501 W. 31st St., in Chicago.

Players can spin the prize wheel for a chance to win a top cash prize of $100, Illinois Lottery Instant Tickets and other fun giveaways.

Can't make it to the Spin the Wheel Challenge? The celebration continues throughout Lottery Week (July 13–17) with additional promotions and giveaways—giving players even more chances to win.
