I would like to take this opportunity to publicly endorse Mike McCormick for Mayor of Godfrey. I have known Mike for over a decade and in that time, I’ve witnessed him do so many great things for Godfrey and the Riverbend area. In addition to being a strong supporter of local businesses, Mike has fought to keep Godfrey an affordable place to live by maintaining or lowering the tax levy every year. He makes and keeps promises and has always had a vision for
Godfrey, tackling and accomplishing goals over the past 12 years that he has honorably served as Mayor.
Being a church pastor and citizen very personally and professionally invested in government, law enforcement, mental health, education, and civil rights matters, I know firsthand how important personal relationships are, and I know that Mike is a genuine person who cares deeply about the Village of Godfrey and its residents. I am proud to call him a friend and I look forward to another term of his leadership. Please join me in voting for Mike for Mayor on April 6th.
