ALTON - The Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, football game between Principia and Marquette Catholic at Public School Stadium has been pushed back to 7:30 p.m. because of intense heat, Marquette athletic director Brian Hoener announced. The contest was originally supposed to start at 7 p.m.

Marquette Catholic enters the matchup 1-1 overall after a 36-16 home win over Dupo and a 25-21 loss to Red Bud.
