EDWARDSVILLE - Jayden Dancy is a key senior forward for the O'Fallon Township High boys basketball team and has been a leader and model of consistency for the Panthers during a tough season so far.

Dancy currently is one of the team's leading scorers, averaging in double figures and averaging nearly 5 rebounds-per-game. Dancy believes the Panthers "have to execute better" the remainder of the 2026 season.
It has been a difficult season for O'Fallon, but the effort has been consistent throughout the season. Dancy knows what his team has to do better to help turn things around.
"We just have to finish strong in games," Dancy said. "We always lose by three, two points, and we always fight until the end. So, we need to come out with intensity, come out to win."
As one of the senior leaders for the Panthers, Dancy knows what it will take to help turn the season around for his team.
"For me to probably be more of a vocal leader," Dancy said.
There's still plenty of basketball yet to be played, of course, and Dancy knows it's a prime opportunity for O'Fallon to turn things around. He has some goals and aspirations for himself and his team in the second half of the season.
"We want to get a lot more wins," Dancy said, "and probably get my average up a little bit more, and help my team."
Dancy is feeling very confident about good things happening to him and the Panthers during the remainder of the season.
"We have an amazing team," Dancy said. "I think we're going to do well in the remainder of the season."
