GRAFTON – Grafton residents will soon have multiple chances to shape how the city regulates food trucks.
The City of Grafton is hosting two upcoming public hearings regarding a proposed Food Truck Ordinance.

The first hearing is set for tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, while the second is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026. Both hearings will be held at 7 p.m. at Grafton City Hall, located at 118 E. Main St. in Grafton.
The hearing are open to all who are interested in attending and/or making comments on the subject. Comments can also be submitted prior to the hearings either in person at City Hall or in writing at cityofgrafton@gtec.com.
This comes just over a month after city officials launched a special committee to recommend legislation on food trucks in the city. The committee includes City Council members Richard Mosby, Mary Jo Cote and Rus Roy, as well as former alderman David Hand, Police Chief Dave Womack and Brad Hagen.
Mayor Mike Morrow previously said that after researching food truck rules in other nearby communities, these public hearings will be part of a long, thorough process to properly regulate food trucks in Grafton.
“This is going to be not a quick process, but it’s going to be a process that we go through very thoroughly,” the mayor said. “The end product will be an ordinance that we will be able to enforce on food trucks – whether it’s through special permits or however they work.”
