
ALTON - O'Fallon High School and senior Tyler Murray took the top spots at the Alton Tee Off Classic on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 18, 2026, at Spencer T. Olin Golf Course in Alton, with Murray shooting a 2-under 70 and the Panthers finishing first as a team at 301.
Murray finished one stroke ahead of Belleville Althoff Catholic senior Carson Tribout, who shot 1-under 71. Virden North Mac freshman Colin Thoroman was third with an even-par 72.

Edwardsville’s Luke Maxim and Waterloo’s Caden Kite each shot 74, 2 over par. Edwardsville’s Bennett Briggs followed with a 75.
O'Fallon also had Lincoln Weaving and Max Bortz each finish at 76, while Brett Hattan shot 79. The Panthers’ team total of 301 was 13 over par.
Edwardsville placed second in the team standings with a 303, 15 over par. The Tigers were led by Maxim’s 74 and Briggs’ 75. Brian Cooper and Michael Shaw each shot 77, and Drew Capron added an 80.
Belleville Althoff Catholic was third at 320, 32 over par. Breese Mater Dei finished fourth at 327, followed by Highland at 330.
Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin and Breese Central each finished at 331. Belleville West shot 333, Chatham Glenwood had 334, and Springfield High School finished at 335.
Waterloo, Columbia, and Jersey each posted 336. Alton finished at 338, and Belleville East shot 341.
Other individual scores included Jude O'Brien of Springfield High School, Brian Cooper of Edwardsville, Landon Mayer of Alton Sr., and Michael Shaw of Edwardsville at 77. Brendan Gibson of Columbia, Lucas Boualavong of Chatham Glenwood, and Alec Jobe of Belleville West each shot 78.
Six players finished at 79: Brett Hattan of O'Fallon, Liam Hoecker of Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin, Eli Lucas of Highland, Carver Hall of Herrin, Darren Klein of Mascoutah, and Adam Robinson of Jersey.
Hubert Allen of Marquette Catholic finished with a score of 81. Marquette Catholic finished with a team score of 357.
