EDWARDSVILLE – Bank of Madison County has opened its doors in downtown Edwardsville at 100 North Main Street, in the landmark Bohm Building at Main and Vandalia.

This servesas a temporary space while a permanent location is finalized. Paul Abert, Edwardsville nativeand Bank of Madison County Market President, said the bank is full-service and will specialize in business and personal loans, while putting special emphasis on building personal client relationships.

With team members who bring experience and passion to their work, Abert is confident clients will see a noticeable difference in the level of service and bank’s day-to-day operations.

“This is a full-circle moment for me because I started my banking career in downtown Edwardsville in 1983 and this is where I learned so many of my founding principles about what it means to be a community banker,” said Abert. “I love that Bank of Madison County upholds those same principles, and they are also selecting a location inthe heart of the county seat that will be easily accessible to everyone.”

Bank of Madison County will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with additional hours available by appointment. As part of the downtown business district, parking is free on all streets, as well as the surface lot behind the Bohm building.
