LIVINGSTON — A crash involving an RV and a tractor-trailer shut down southbound Interstate 55 near Livingston in Madison County on Sept. 29, 2026, with one occupant being airlifted to a regional hospital, according to Illinois State Police.
Illinois State Police Troop 8 responded to the two-vehicle crash at milepost 35 at approximately 12:57 p.m. Injuries were reported, but no details about their severity or the number of people injured were available.
