Winds stay light out of the east-northeast near 5 mph. This evening brings another chance for a thunderstorm before skies turn partly cloudy. Overnight stays warm and humid, with the low settling near 70 and light southeast winds.

A Heat Advisory remains in effect through Saturday evening, with heat index values as high as 107 possible. An Air Quality Alert is also in effect Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the St. Louis metro area. Ozone levels may be unhealthy for sensitive groups.

Friday’s allergy index looks moderate overall. Ragweed is the main allergen at moderate levels, while grass, mold and tree pollen remain low.

Saturday stays hot with a mix of sun and clouds. The high reaches 94 and the low drops to 65. Rain chances are low, and a southwest breeze may gust near 14 mph during the day.

Sunday looks a little less intense, with partly sunny skies and a high of 84. The low will be 65. Most of the day stays dry, though rain chances rise Sunday night with a late shower or thunderstorm possible.
