For her hard work, Elizabeth Clouse is a Phillips 66 Student of the Month for Roxana Senior High School.
Clouse, a senior, has represented her peers as a member of the Student Council for the past four years. She currently serves as the Executive Board president.
She is also a Student Ambassador and president of the Best Buddies program. She participates with Saturday Scholars.
Clouse was recently inducted into the National Honor Society, which requires high grades and many hours of community service. She is the vice president of the school’s NHS chapter.
She also enjoys running and has participated with the track and field and cross country teams since her freshman year. She currently serves as the captain of both teams. Clouse expressed her appreciation for her coaches and teammates, to whom she is very close.
Clouse certainly stays busy, but she still finds time to help other people as a volunteer at her church. She also works a part-time job during the summers. In her limited free time, she loves to read and hang out with her friends.
She has big plans for after high school. Her loved ones and teachers can’t wait to watch her succeed.
“I plan to attend college to get my master’s in speech language pathology,” she shared. “I would love to open my own clinic for speech.”
