QUINCY — The Marquette Catholic girls golf team shot a 372 on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, at Quincy Country Club, finishing fourth out of 15 teams in the second annual Lady Raider Invite hosted by Quincy Notre Dame.

The Explorers finished behind Quincy Notre Dame, which won the tournament with a 355, Edwardsville at 358 and Normal University High at 367.

Sophomore Maggie Pruetzel led Marquette with an 84, placing third individually. Senior Lexi Taylor shot an 88 and finished seventh individually.

The tournament also included closest-to-the-pin contests on all par-3 holes. Taylor and junior Covelynn Geisler each won awards in those contests.

Marquette is scheduled to host Alton High School and Maryville Christian at the Woodlands on Thursday night, Aug. 27, 2026.

The team’s next 18-hole tournament is the Uni High Invite at Illinois State University in Bloomington next Thursday.
