Jersey’s 22-14 record marked a strong season for the Panthers, with Kribs playing a central role as a senior contributor.

Kribs also averaged in double figures for Jersey in boys basketball. Coach Matt Murphy said Kribs brought “poise and leadership to the young team” in 2025-2026.

“He had a big impact for our team,” Murphy said after the boys basketball season.

This summer, Kribs has continued to contribute on the baseball field with the Alton Senior Legion. He had two hits Thursday night, July 16, 2026, as Alton’s Senior Legion earned its second victory in the postseason divisional playoffs in Steelville.

In every sport and team he has been involved in this year, Kribs has been a catalyst and strong leader. He will be missed on the baseball and basketball fields in Jersey after his graduation.
