The league, created by East Alton-Wood River Athletic Director Mark Beatty, featured multiple games on the final night as both boys and girls teams competed at the same time on two courts.
On Monday night, June 22, 2026, in girls play, Granite City faced Bunker Hill, Marquette Catholic played East Alton-Wood River in the second game, and Metro East Lutheran met Jersey in the nightcap.

In boys' play, Jersey faced Dupo, Dupo played McGivney in the second game, and Dupo and McGivney met again in the third game.
The courts were split into two sides to allow both the boys' and girls' games to be played at the same time.
Beatty said he was pleased with the event and its growth.
“I am really proud of the summer basketball league,” Beatty said. “This is our second year, and it is great to get the kids to play in such a nice summer facility.”
