
ROXANA - Roxana Junior High School athlete Peyton Cincoski won the Illinois Elementary School Association Class 3A state championship in the 100-meter race recently.

Cincoski posted a time of 13.08 to finish ahead of Sydnee Nestrick of Vandalia and Maylie Bates of Tolono Unity.
The Roxana School District celebrated Cincoski’s victory in a statement that recognized both her athletic achievement and character.
“Congratulations, Peyton Cincoski. She is a state champion athlete and a state champion human being,” the Roxana School District said in a statement.
According to the provided results, Cincoski won the race with a time of 13.08. Sydnee Nestrick of Vandalia was listed at 13.11, and Maylie Bates of Tolono Unit was listed at 13.18.
Cincoski is also a Midwest Members Credit Union Female Athlete of the Month.
Cincoski will compete next season for the Roxana High School team as a Shells athlete and should have an extraordinary future ahead.
