WHAT:
The Route 66 Jeep Run will bring Jeep enthusiasts from across the Midwest together on Saturday, June 6, 2026, for a one-of-a-kind driving experience celebrating the 100th Anniversary of historic Route 66.

Participants will travel one of seven themed routes covering the final 100 miles of Illinois Route 66, stopping at iconic attractions, restaurants, historic sites, and photo locations before ending in Downtown Granite City, Illinois, for a public Grand Finale Celebration featuring live music, food, entertainment, and Route 66-themed experiences.
Proceeds from the Route 66 Jeep Run will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, helping support injured veterans and military families. So far more than $7,000 has been raised.
The charitable partnership also reflects the deep historical connection between Jeep culture and the United States military. The original Jeep was developed during World War II as a lightweight military reconnaissance vehicle and quickly became an iconic symbol of American freedom, service, and adventure. Today’s Jeep community continues to honor that legacy through patriotism, charitable giving, and support for veterans causes.
The event is expected to draw participants and visitors from multiple states and Canada while generating tourism and economic activity for communities along historic Route 66.
