Three seniors were celebrated during the Maryville Christian game, including Emma Dempsey, Jessica Eales, and Maddie Waters. Each is a multi-year starter and has been part of more than 60 victories and 40 shutouts in their combined careers.

The first Marquette goal came at 31:00 of the first half, and the second goal at 38:20 of the second half. Since the game went past halftime, it counted as a full game.

Marquette Catholic is now 11-4-2 overall.

The Explorers host Granite City at Glazebrook Park on Wednesday night, then travel to Hillsboro on Friday and to Gibault Catholic on Monday, May 11, 2026, in the Explorers' final regular season match before playoffs start.
