EDWARDSVILLE - Edwardsville artist Eula Anna Conwell Berg has been selected as one of 20 finalists in her category in The Art of Elysium People’s Artist Awards with Johnny Depp, with public voting set to open May 4, 2026.

Berg, from Edwardsville, is a finalist for the award, which will be decided through public voting that begins May 4, 2026, and runs throughout most of the summer.

Supporters are encouraged to vote daily and share the voting link “to help bring this honor home to Edwardsville,” according to information provided.

Berg’s series, “People, Places, and Things,” features photography “with a twist.” The series is described as being inspired by “the natural beauty and intricate details that catch her eye,” with photographs that “capture everything from majestic trees and blooming flowers to quiet moments with animals and familiar landscapes — finding the extraordinary in ordinary life around us.”

The winner of The Art of Elysium People’s Artist Awards with Johnny Depp will receive $25,000, a feature in Artforum magazine, and an exhibition at The Art of Elysium’s Salon in Los Angeles.
