The outage occurred around 5:05 p.m. Friday, according to Brian Bretsch, a public relations manager.

“To make the area safe to begin restoring power, crews had to de-energize the power lines,” Bretsch said in an email. He said crews planned to fix the power lines and then replace the broken power pole, with an estimated safe restoration time of 9:30 p.m.

In a later update sent at 8:25 p.m., Bretsch said all customers were restored by 7:55 p.m. and that a new power pole had been set.
